Here is a book that maliciously, decives you into thinking its a childrens' picture book. Once you pick this graphic novel up and begin to read it, you will realize that that is not the case. Author, Neil Gaiman, in this book deals with the basis of our emotions, our childhood memories. Mr. Punch snakes and twists himself through the mind of a young boy dealing with life and himself. This book reaches out and grabs that part inside of us, that is the speaker of our own hidden emotions. "Mr. Punch" is a modern day fable out of the one and only imagination of Neil Gaiman (creator of "The Sandman" and "Black Orchid" and countless others). Each character of the "Mr. Punch Puppet Show" resembles our emotions in thier rawest state, birth, trust, love, fear, and death. After reading this book one realizes that there is no getting away from dead memories and that Mr. Punch is alive and breathing with in every one of us.
