1. KMFDM- XTORT

A long time ago in Germany, around 1977 a man named Sascha Konietzo stumbled into a Sex Pistols concert in a small venue. He was high on speed and drunk, and had been doing nothing but that and working to support his siblings after the collapse of his family. The Sex Pistols, as they have been to so many people, were the start of a tremendous revelation for this teenage fuck-up. The next day he spiked his hair and started learning bass.

Sascha K formed his industrial band KMFDM (which stands for "No Pity for the Majority" in German) in a whore house in Paris, 1984. It's changed a lot since then, releasing their 8th album XTORT just a few months back. Basically Sascha K is to KMFDM as Trent Reznor is to NIN......accept he shouts anti-government lyrics into an amplified intercom while various men and women do back up vocals or gurgling guitar riffs. XTORT is basically like any of their other albums......5 letter title, 5 letter songs, changing band members......

Industrial music without the whining screach of the words "I just want something I can never have" over and over. ------------
