3. Suicide Machines- Destruction by Definition

Did anyone hear of "The Van's Warped Tour", a short tour that was on this summer? Tickets cost 15 bucks for 7 hours worth of moshing, skateboarding competitions, and punk music on 2 stages. It featured bands such as Pennywise, NOFX, Fishbone, CIV, Tilt, and of course The Suicide Machines.

On their debut album S.M. scream and jam on 16 fast tracks that blend ska and punk (what an unusual mix) on short songs about breaking glass, girlfriends, wars, growth, and just about anything worth yelling about. They even have a song about why someone should buy Vans instead of Doc Martens.....a joke if you weren't wondering.

I can't say I know much about the band, because they're fairly new and havent reached the mainstream (only a few good bands ever do).And their homepage isnt very helpful at all......anyways if you like Rancid, Minor Threat, Op. Ivy, the Specials or any other bitchin music, I highly recommend this great CD.
